Famous South Indian actor Pushpalatha died in Chennai at the age of 87 after being ill for a long time. She was a famous actress who worked for over 50 years and acted in more than 100 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Pushpalatha started her Tamil film career in 1958 with “Senkkottai Singam” and began acting in Malayalam films in 1969 with “Nurse.” She was famous for her great efforts in films like “Sarada,” “Paar Magaley Paar,” “Naanum Oru Penn,” “Yarukku Sontham,” “Thaaye Unakkaga,” “Karpooram,” “Jeevanaamsam,” “Dharisanam,” “Kalyanaraman,” “Sakalakala Vallavan,” “Simla Special,” and “Puthu Vellam.”
