Andhra Pradesh Hotels Under Investigation After Fresh Bomb Threats
Email bomb threats were sent to three hotels in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, which is known as the “Temple Town.” This made the cops act right away. The businesses were thoroughly searched by sniffer dogs when they came and found that the threats were not real.
Investigations are underway to trace the source of the threats, which are linked to drug kingpin Jaffer Sidiq.
The threatening emails stated that bombs had been put in the hotels and would be detonated shortly. The emails’ subject lines referenced the involvement of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister as well as international pressure following Jaffer Sidiq’s detention. The police registered a case and launched a search operation in the hotels, but no bombs were found.
