Popular Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has been sent a notice by the government of Telangana before his show in Hyderabad as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour. The notice says that songs that promote drugs, booze, or violence can’t be played and that kids aren’t allowed on stage.

Government Restrictions

The notice from the District Welfare Officer of the Department of Welfare of Women and Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens, Rangareddy, says that Diljit Dosanjh can’t play songs that support violence, drugs, or alcohol. The government also talked about how loud noises and flashing lights can hurt kids, which is why kids weren’t allowed on stage during the show.

Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Hyderabad is part of his Dil-Luminati Tour, which goes to ten places in India. Delhi was the first stop on the tour, and it will continue in other big towns like Mumbai, Kolkata, and Pune.

Public Reaction

Fans of Diljit Dosanjh have expressed mixed reactions to the government’s notice. Certain people think that the rules are important to keep kids safe and healthy, while others say that they limit the artist’s freedom.

Diljit has had to deal with rules like these before. At his show in Delhi, people were worried about the same things, and the government also said that his songs made people want to use drugs.

The notice that the Telangana government sent to Diljit Dosanjh before his concert in Hyderabad highlights the ongoing conversation about what should be said at live performances and how artists should follow the rules that protect the public’s safety and well-being.
