The Indian Supreme Court was very angry with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, for using bad language on comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show “India’s Got Latent.” The court said that what he said showed a “perverted mind” and made it clear that this kind of behavior is never okay, no matter how famous the person is. They were told by the judge, Surya Kant, “The words you have chosen, parents will be ashamed, sisters will be ashamed. The entire society will feel ashamed.”
A lot of First Information Reports (FIRs) from Maharashtra, Assam, and Rajasthan were about him. Because of this, he went to court and put all of these cases together. As long as he entirely cooperates with the ongoing investigations, the Supreme Court temporarily shields him from being jailed. The court also informed Allahbadia and his pals that they were not allowed to broadcast any further programs until additional notice. The court told him he couldn’t leave the country without first getting permission, so he had to show the Thane cops his visa.
He made things worse when he asked a guest on “India’s Got Latent,” a question that wasn’t appropriate.

People were very angry about this, and the case went to court. After the reaction, Allahbadia apologized in public, saying that he knew his comments were hurtful and not funny. “My comment wasn’t just rude; it wasn’t even funny,” he said. Being funny isn’t my strong suit; I’m just here to say sorry.”

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has also asked Allahbadia, Raina, and other people involved to come in for a hearing about what happened. After failing to show up for the first meeting, the people have been given more time to appear before the panel.
This event has led to a larger conversation about how public figures and content makers should uphold social norms and the legal consequences that might come from breaking the rules for fun.
