The NS-31 mission was the first time solely women ventured into space since Soviet pilot Valentina Tereshkova’s solitary trip in 1963. The group consisted of:

- Lauren Sánchez – Pilot, journalist, and fiancée of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos
- Gayle King: A famous CBS reporter.

The mission lasted about 10 minutes and 21 seconds and reached the Kármán line, which is the line that everyone agrees is the edge of space.
