Breaking News – Magnitude 7.1 Earthquake Strikes Tibet-Nepal Border, Tremors Felt Across North India
Earthquake of magnitude 7.1 hits near Tibet-Nepal border in the early hours of Tuesday, tremors felt in several regions of North India, including Delhi-NCR, Bihar and West Bengal. Nepal records sizeable earthquake near Lobuche Nepal during morning hours today under the China Tibet region epicenter, though 93 KM in northeast from Lobuche, Nepal.
The tremors were strong enough to cause panic among residents, prompting many to evacuate their homes.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of significant damage or casualties in India.

Update: According to the latest news, at least nine people have been confirmed dead, and many buildings in the hit area have also collapsed. Significant damage has been reported in the vicinity, and many residents are frantically fleeing for safety, according to China’s state media. The National Centre for Seismology has reported two aftershocks of magnitude 4.7 and 4.9 within half an hour of the main quake.

More Developments: There has been widespread panic in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, as residents poured into the streets and scrambled for safety. The region is seismically active and has seen similar powerful quakes before, most notably a 7.8 magnitude earthquake in 2015 that led to major loss of lives and property.
