“Our Power, Our Planet,” the theme for 2025, stresses how important it is to switch to renewable energy sources. Antonique Smith, a singer and actress who has been nominated for a Grammy, is the official Earth Day 2025 representative. For her role as Faith Evans in the movie Notorious and her Grammy-nominated song “Hold Up, Wait a Minute,” Smith is best known. Since 2014, she has been a vocal environmentalist. She helped start Climate Revival, a group that uses art and stories to bring attention to environmental problems. Smith’s work mixes art with activism to get people to do something about environmental problems.
