Known Punjabi musician and actor Diljit Dosanjh is in trouble because he is being sued for allegedly fixing ticket prices for his upcoming “Dil-Luminati India Tour.”
Riddhima Kapoor claims that the organizers manipulated ticket availability, leading to scalping and inflated prices.
According to her, tickets for the concert were released earlier than the announced time, causing them to sell out almost instantly. This sudden unavailability of tickets has raised suspicions of artificial demand inflation and price manipulation.
The legal notice, which also implicates Zomato, HDFC Bank, and Saregama Pvt Ltd, cites violations of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Riddhima alleges that despite acquiring an HDFC credit card specifically for early-bird passes, she was unable to secure a ticket due to these unfair practices.
Diljit Dosanjh’s “Dil-Luminati India Tour” is set to cover 10 cities across India, starting with a performance in Delhi at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 26, 2024.
Along with Guwahati, the tour will visit Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Hyderabad, and Lucknow.
Diljit Dosanjh and the other individuals concerned have yet to provide an official response. Fans are eagerly expecting new developments in this ongoing crisis.
