The globe is preparing for a worldwide celebration spanning many time zones as we get ready for the New Year 2025. The spinning of the Earth and the several time zones will cause different locations to celebrate the change into 2025 at different times.

Celebrate first Kiritimati Island, often known as Christmas Island. Kiritimati Island, sometimes referred to as Christmas Island, in the Republic of Kiribati will be the first site on Earth greeting the New Year. Situated in the Pacific Ocean, this atoll will ring on December 31 at 01:30 PM IST next year. Kiritimati’s proximity just west of the International Date Line accounts for this early celebration.

Observing celebrations: Tonga and Samoa Not too far from Kiritimati, nearby Tonga and Samoa will join in celebration at 04:30 PM IST on December 31. These nations will keep the Pacific’s tsunami of celebrations rolling on.
