Blinkit Introduces 10-Minute Ambulance Service in Gurugram
Entering emergency medical services, Blinkit, the rapid commerce platform, has set up a 10-minute ambulance service in Gurugram. With five ambulances placed in specific parts of the city, CEO Albinder Dhindsa said the service is already in the testing stage.

Every ambulance carries basic life-saving tools including oxygen cylinders, defibrillators, stretchers, monitors, and emergency medications. Along with the driver, a qualified paramedic and assistant are on board to offer quick medical aid throughout travel.

Affordability and Expansion Plans
Albinder Dhindsa stressed that profitability is not the main goal even if the actual price of the service has not been revealed. “We will operate this service at an affordable cost for customers and invest in really solving this vital problem for the long term,” he said. Over the following two years, Blinkit intends to extend this service to all big cities.

Recent Initiatives
Blinkit’s second new offering within a week is this ambulance service. Earlier, the business unveiled a fleet of electric cars meant to manage big purchases including party supplies and electronics. Currently running in Delhi and Gurugram, these vehicles have intentions to reach other cities not too far off.
