Arvind Kejriwal, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), made a big statement before the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. He announced the “Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana.”

If the AAP wins again in Delhi, this plan offers to give Hindu temple priests and Sikh granthis an honorarium of Rs 18,000 a month.

Arvind Kejriwal stressed how important it is to help religious leaders who are very important to society but are often forgotten about. “Pujaris and granthis are an important part of our society, but they don’t get enough attention.” “We are putting in place a plan to help them for the first time in the country,” he said.

Tuesday will be the first day that people can sign up for the scheme. Arvind Kejriwal is planning to visit the Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place to oversee the process.

It is the goal of the plan to give religious leaders money so they can get the support and respect they deserve.

This statement is part of a set of welfare plans that Arvind Kejriwal put in place before the elections.

Other programs include the Mahila Samman Yojana, which gives women in Delhi Rs 2,100 a month, and the Sanjeevani Yojana, which lets people over 60 get free care at both private and public hospitals.

Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana clearly indicates the fact that as the election of the Delhi Assembly approaches, it is the will of all kinds of people that can be met. The efficacy of the scheme will depend only on how it is successfully implemented and on how many people it gathers support.
