It has been officially revealed by Apple that its yearly event centered around the iPhone, which is appropriately called “Glowtime,” will take place on Monday, September 9. The event will begin at ten o’clock in the morning Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) and will take place at the Apple Park facility in Cupertino, California.

  • Date: September 9
  • Venue: Apple Park, California
  • Time: 10 AM PT
  • India time: 10:30 PM IST
  • Livestream: Apple’s website

iPhone 16 Lineup

The highlight of the event will undoubtedly be the iPhone 16 series. Apple is set to unveil four models:

iPhone 16 and 16 Plus: These standard models are likely to feature the customizable Action Button and a new Capture Button for taking photos, complete with built-in gestures.

The displays on the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will be larger than those on the Pro lineup, measuring 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively.

Additionally, the Pro lineup will have the 5x Telephoto zoom option, which was previously only available on the Pro Max.

All of the devices will come pre-installed with the A18 chip, which will provide access to the Apple Intelligence features that are included in iOS 18.

Apple Watch Series 10

During the event, the next version of Apple Watch models will also be shown off. Even though we don’t know much about it yet, we think the basic Series 10 will be smaller and have a bigger screen. Apple could also come out with new versions of the Apple Watch Ultra and the Apple Watch SE. It’s possible that these new versions will have health-related features, such as the ability to check for sleep apnea and blood pressure.

AirPods 4

Apple enthusiasts can look forward to two versions of the AirPods 4:

Standard AirPods 4: A direct successor to the current AirPods 3.
Upgraded AirPods 4: These will offer Active Noise Cancellation at a non-Pro price point.
Livestream and Software Updates

Apple plans to livestream the event on its website, YouTube channel, and through the Apple TV app.

During the event, we’ll receive official launch dates for iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and other software updates.
