  • Anurag Yadav’s Admission: In a confession letter accessed exclusively by India Today, 22-year-old Yadav, the nephew of an engineer deployed at Bihar’s Danapur Town Council, admitted that the leaked NEET question paper provided to him matched the actual exam question paper.
  • Uncle’s Involvement: Yadav’s uncle, an engineer, was allegedly involved in leaking the paper. His relative, Sikandar Prasad Yadavendu, informed him that all arrangements for the exam had been made.
  • Leaked Paper and Answers: Yadav also revealed that he was provided with both the leaked NEET exam question paper and the corresponding answers.

‘Mantri Ji’ and Government Bungalow

Hours earlier, India Today accessed a confessional note by Yadavendu, which revealed the alleged involvement of a ‘Mantri Ji.’ This individual allegedly recommended that Anurag Yadav, his mother, and other accomplices stay at a government bungalow in Patna. The Union Education Ministry sought a report from the Bihar Police’s Economic Offences Unit regarding the alleged irregularities in the NEET exam in Patna. The allegations of question paper leaks have led to protests and legal petition.
